Report-Card Pick-Up / Parent Workshops

4:00 - 6:00 PM

Come speak with your student’s teachers, and learn how to make college a reality in workshops offered every 20 minutes.  Workshops include:

College Selectivity, Scholarships 101, Freshmen “How to” High School, Intro to FAFSA, College Athletics & NCAA Eligibility, ACT to SAT transition, The Community College Path, and student presentations on biotech. Plus much more!

Presidents’ Day - No School

​Solorio Academy will be closed on February 15th in observance of Presidents’ Day.

First Semester Honors Dinner

Solorio’s teachers and staff will be hosting a first semester honors dinner to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of so many of our students.  The catered dinner will run from 5:30 - 7:30 in the cafeteria.

Service @ Solorio: Girls Soccer Team Become Buddy’s HELPERS

​“In three hours, the students collected more than 3,100 pairs of socks in partnership with Buddy’s HELPERS. On Tuesday afternoon, some of those students made a surprise delivery to Franciscan House & Annex, a 257-bed shelter with separate men’s and women’s dorms that has been providing refuge for more than L30 years. Solorio Celebrates Black History Month With a Number of February Events

Solorio Competes at Evanston Township HS Dead Presidents Debate

9th graders Amado Candelario and Ana Garcia went 4-2, were among the top 4 city teams in the novice division and qualified for the city championship. Great job to all debaters who competed!
